Observations from 100@25 Appeals Calls - many donors and potential donors have different concepts of what the funds should be used for and what the state party should be doing. The following is a list summarizing the most important and prevalent concerns:
- More active support to the affiliates, including updated handbooks with relevant documents necessary for affiliation with government filing, guidance for affiliate leadership in the event of turnover for more stable operations (like SOPs), guidance to affiliates on fundraising rules and limits, guidance on how to increase membership and run a successful affiliate for the long-term.
- More support to candidates (I think an education campaign on what we are actually doing in the confines of our available resources would suffice)
- More voters and members - impressing upon region reps and affiliate leadership to purchase voter contact information and to reach out to the voter rolls will help
- Volunteer assimilation - assign tasks to interested volunteers as quickly as possible and to tasks they are well-suited for
- Legislative Action - clear plans, action, and results at the state level and assistance at the county level on affecting legislative change toward Liberty.
