Region 14 report - September 2021
Using August 2021 voter registration numbers:
Miami-Dade County LPF 2,248 from 2,161 (in two months increase by 4.0%).
Munroe County LPF 247 from 217 (in two months increase by 13.8%)
Activities:
Attended Miami-Dade affiliate meeting on Sept. 14th. Reported on LPF business and upcoming EC meeting information.
Continuing relationship building with Munroe County affiliate EC. Planning a trip to the Keys.
Follow up with leads generated from LPF/LNC websites.
Successfully tabled Solutionary Summit, Sept. 3-4. Special thanks to the Miami-Dade County affiliate who had several volunteers present. Did note that the LPF needs to continue to invest in a tabling kit such as a banners (several) that read "Libertarian Party of Florida," purchase giveaway swag such as books and the World's Smallest Political Quiz. I also suggest a re-do of the LPF logo to stand out stronger on white banners or backdrops such as on websites when placed among other logos.
Prepared an LNC Legal Review on a matter dealing with Florida Election Law and potentially making it easier to collect candidate petitions, especially for next year's apportionment year with reduced petition requirements.
Researched and prepared a report to review about LNC Region 2 Representative Steven Nekhaila's vote in the most recent LNC on a controversial motion to remove the secretary. See attached unofficial report made in coordination with Vice Chair Hlavka.
