Attended Volusia LP Bowling event September 13th in Orange City. A couple Libertarians new to Volusia attended as well as a couple regulars and myself. Volusia LP will have a space at Family Days event on October 11th & 12th in Port Orange. If you can volunteer, please do so. Volusia LP next regular meeting is October 9th, 2025 at 7pm via Zoom.
Libertarian Governor candidate Scott Jewett is currently filed for 2026.
Libertarian U.S. House candidate for District 6 Andrew Parrott has filed for 2026 election cycle. Parrott campaign has expressed collecting petitions to qualify for the ballot and is seeking volunteers to do so. Congressional District 6 covers most of Region 7.
Helped someone who reached out to Volusia LP register from Democrat to Libertarian (individual does not use internet, so it was trickier than it sounded! ;))
Will continue to reach out to people to seek interest in running for office and/or getting involved in the local affiliates of Region 7 and potentially affiliating non-affiliated counties (Flagler & Putnum).
