LPF Fundraising Committee Report, November 2021

Committee Objectives:
Expand depth and breadth of donor base
Achieve $3k in recurring donations ($1,778 currently)
Earn $100k for the year (from Feb. 2021 to date: $60,376.24 or $39,623.76 to goal by Feb. 2022)
Measures/Outcomes:

Action Items Completed:
- Researched and identified a fundraising CRM to support fundraising cmte and development director activities (Bloomerang)
- Researched and identified a droppershipper to service a LPF e-store (Spreadshirt/Spreadship)
- Organized donor data to identify opportunities for texting and for direct mail solicitation with the development director
- The 100@25 Club will have its second exclusive speakers event on the LPF Discord with Spike Cohen on Monday, November 22nd at 7pm Eastern.
- Voted unanimously on a motion to the Executive Committee to require the Development Director access to LPF Mailchimp account (see below for full text of motion).
- Voted to approve a budget through end of February 2022 / LPF Convention
The fundraising committee submits the following budget request through the Annual Business Meeting at the end of February 2022 (15 weeks):
Rollover funds: $476 (unspent from previous budget request)
New funds authorization: $2,532.24
Total budget request: $3,008.24

Action Items in Progress/Pending:
- 3 yr fundraising plan proposal
- Execute on top donor level perks
- Decide on store products, drop-shipper, and inventory manager
- Developing new solicitation language
- Affiliate link program
- Assisting fundraising event planning
Requests to the Executive Committee:
- It is suggested that the EC enter a directive to the various committees to produce a wishlist of activities, projects or expenses and their estimated cost no matter how small or large in dollar value to identify potential fundraising programs to fund them
- We encourage each member of the executive committee to join the 100@25 Club for recurring donors of $25 per month.
Motion to authorize the Development Director full access to LPF Mailchimp
Title: Motion to authorize the Development Director full access to LPF Mailchimp
Motion: The Fundraising Committee moves this motion before this honorable Executive Committee to authorize the Communication Committee to grant the Development Director management access (“admin” rights) to the Mailchimp account to allow the Development Director use of the MailChimp account for fundraising purposes through the duration of their contract.
Discussion: The Communications Committee has become overburdened with requests from the Development Director for email fundraising appeals causing release of said emails to be delayed. This motion would authorize the Development Director to have their own login credentials and administrative (“admin” level) access. Admins can invite new users; create and send campaigns; import lists (to add new labels and email lists); export lists; create templates; create autoresponders; and view subscriber level reports.
