Checked filing for FEC
FEC expected to be filed by Treasurer by January 2022 deadline.
DOE filing for 4th Quarter 2021 was filed timely
Checked Quickbooks all appear to be in order and up to date.
More information uncovered on ending status of two possible small fraudulent charges. August 19 and August 23 2021, $13.00 each, charged against debit card for James Morris and signed by P. Alexander. Note that the next few Treasurers until S. Gilmore did not change that card. It’s up to the bank at this point.
Followed up with LPF Chair about LP attorney response regarding former affiliate
Committee held meeting January 6
Reviewed spreadsheet for contractor generated donations, expenses, contractor expenditures, overall donations and expenditures
It appeared that fundraising results will fluctuate quite a bit with busy and slow periods
Contractor’s spreadsheet needs all calculated columns to be replaced with formulas to reduce time to complete and eliminate possibilities of computational errors
Should we be considering well developed fundraising events as even more valuable than recurring donors? Answer is both are important for both donations and relationship building
Fundraising Committee - Are there any figures on what they are raising?
Is the contractor making enough to fund self plus? Looks like probably yes.
May want to have a roundtable with Audit and Contractor before contract renewal to see what both parties expect and need.
Will follow up on Treasurers Meetings initiative - Thompson
