Actions of At-Large 3 have been included in the prior monthly reports.
2021/2022 has been a solid year for the LPF. In this first year as At-Large3 I have attended meetings, public engagements, candidate events, and party fundraisers in five of the LPF Regions (5, 9, 11, 13, & 14). I have attended the Audit committee meetings as a member, and at various times of the year I have attended Convention Committee, Affiliate Support, and the LPF Platform Committee discussion. I am the Florida representative on the LNC National Platform Committee. I have also served as the Treasurer of my Local St. Lucie County Affiliate and have been the primary driver in our activities.
In the year I started the discussion on the creation of an events coordinator position. Discussion has been ongoing as to if this position will be a paid position or would be better handled as a committee. The goal for this year is to stand-up a committee for this purpose.
The Development Director position worked well (was a cash-positive position). We are in discussions with various individuals to appoint a new version of this position. It may be advantageous to link this position with the Events committee in addition to Fundraising, as events are an opportunity to develop membership and raise funds.
