At-Large 3 Monthly Report 04/17/22
General Notes:
This report covers the period between March 14th and April 17th, 2022.
Notes for National Platform: Platform committee has been regularly meeting in preparation of our report at the end of the month. A survey will be published soon for members to participate and review our proposals. There is significant concern by the committee chair (Caryn Ann Harlos) that the work product will not be heard by the convention because of concerned limitations on time. Generally speaking 12 of us have been regularly attending meetings and participating. This is out of a committee with 20 positions including alternates. Several members, including 2 appointed by the LNC have not attended any meetings of the committee and a few have only attended one.
Notes for Audit: I chaired the Audit Committee meeting on 4/14.
St. Lucie County update: Mike Rufo was elected Vice Chair. I have assumed the role of Secretary in addition to being the Treasurer. All of this was included in our reports and affiliation paperwork.
