Region 14 report - April 17, 2022

Activities:

Attended Miami-Dade affiliate Annual Business Meeting on April 12, 2022.
Attendance was boosted by email notification and recent Meetup account. Miami-Dade amended its Constitution to require LPF membership for its exeutive committee, and to move its future Annual Business Meetings back to January to improve its ability to file required paperwork efficiently with its Supervisor of Elections and the LPF Secretary. Elected executive committee and officers.  Ensured that the SoE and LPF Secretary were informed of the change, and updated affiliate officer history records in CRM.

New LPMD officers are:
Chair: Tony Sellers
Vice Chair: Suzanne Gilmore
Secretary: Jessica Boudreaux
Treasurer: Dillon O'Reilly

LPMD is planning a fundraiser for a candidate.  Look for news about this soon.

I failed to secure the reaffiliation of the Libertarian Party of the Florida Keys (Monroe County), but am working with officers of the defunct affiliate on a strategy to restart it. We hope to file paperwork before the May LPF EC meeting.

Regards,
Tony Sellers
