LPF Audit Committee Report - September 2022

July/August Events:
Meeting canceled for 08/25/2022. The Committee will be gathering some figures in the
Interim to review contributions vs expenditures.
Committee met on September 8. There were still some missing figures and some
reports received too late to analyze. It does appear that the Treasurer’s Report
for September is expected to show a modest monthly budget deficit in the low hundreds. However, this is another consecutive month without exceeding basic expenses. Treasurer will fill in blank spaces on spreadsheet and try to identify funds raised by Fundraising Contractor and whether encumbered type or general fund. Committee members will study figures and determine whether a request needs to be forthcoming for the Fundraising Contractor to focus more on fundraising for the general fund.
August 19 filing to DOE completed by Treasurer.

Review contractor time sheets
Review financial spreadsheets when updated
Review contribution attributions when received
Review 2024 convention venue proposals upon receipt
Review any contracts necessary
Review referrals by EC
Check DOE filings
Check FEC filings
Check Quickbooks
