2022-2023 Action Plan: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1coIzJlRQicBCs7naWNZRMGy2-kW8J3xA/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=100421007467880575709&rtpof=true&sd=true

Committee Objectives Summary:
- Grow the committee to at least 10 members (currently 7) recruit more members to the Candidate Cmte from the areas of Tampa Bay, SWFL, Panhandle and Central Florida.
- Next training is tentatively scheduled for week before Thanksgiving or first week of December in Broward. These are to organized quarterly (next is either Panhandle or South Florida)
- Recruit at least 100 candidates for public office in Florida (between the August, November and March 2023 elections we currently had confirmed 16 with 7 on August ballot; 6 on November ballot; 3 on March ballot); and 3 have won election to Soil and Water Conservation Districts.
- Candidate Pipeline (list development): Take any interest from people to run for office and assign them to 3 paths (one at a time or concurrently): operation first step (join civic boards), run for something (less than 1 year), and parachute (at least 2 years out).

Continuing Actions:
- The complete list of 2022 LPF Candidates on the ballot will be compiled within the coming week.
--- Review of November 2022 elections we contested:
Statewide: Dennis Misigoy for US Senate and Hector Roos for Florida Governor underperformed the voter registration numbers for Libertarian Party of Florida. This means, we have to do more work with internal sales to our own.

Frank Craft for US House 13 broke our voter registration numbers in a 3 way race.
Joe Hannoush for US House 6 received nearly 25% of the vote in a 2 way race receiving 74,207 votes.

Shawn Allred Middleton for Melbourne City Council lost his election receiving 31% receiving 8,261 votes.

Jonathan Tubbs was the surprise candidate making it to the November ballot for the Sarasota County Hospital Board receiving 28.63% or 53,648 votes as a LIBERTARIAN on the ballot! He only paid $25 to get on the ballot.

- Election law / Ballot Access disputes:
--- 365 day requirement to be a registered member of a party to run under their partisan office:
2) Democrat Rebekah Jones v Florida Department of State (Leon County, Florida Court):
https://ballot-access.org/2022/08/15/rebekah-jones-ballot-access-lawsuit-wins-a-procedural-point/ ...lawsuit won and established the existence of a loophole to the 365 day through this court decision.

- We continue to develop Vote LPF as a repository of candidate support and recruitment funnel beyond the 2022 election cycles.

- We are already recruiting candidates for the remaining 2022 municipal races and the 2023 regional and municipal races. The only partisan elections until 2024 are the DUVAL County / City of Jacksonville elections in March 2023.

- Still researching elections for the Water Management Districts for March. The Supervisors of Elections in my area have no clue but they used to be elected office.

- Adam Whitworth has created a test text messaging service for us that we can use for member outreach and even for public polling or electioneering. This is in testing phase now.

- Question about renewing OPERATION FIRST STEP AFFILIATE INCENTIVE PROGRAM motion.

- We postponed the November 19th Political Action Bootcamp. Likely to end of January. TBD.
