Motion:
On behalf of the Communications Committee, I move to expend an amount not to exceed $750 from the State Fund to purchase one LPF-branded Canopy Tent.
Discussion:
This would provide a professional presence at statewide events, including the upcoming 2021 Florida Cannabis Festival in Mount Dora Nov. 6.
The recommended canopy is a white, 10 x 10 from 4imprint. It would bear the state party logo on three panels with the words: “Libertarian Party of Florida” on three valances (the flaps.) This would allow for visibility when being approached from different directions.
It is the recommendation of Communications to subsequently purchase three or more additional branded canopies for strategic placement throughout the state so they would be accessible for local events. Strict LPF property management would accompany such a program to assure they wouldn’t be misplaced.
Base charge with one imprint: $399.00 (on sale until July 31)

Another option considered was a plain white canopy with flap banners on three sides.

While somewhat cheaper, I believe we would lose visibility and overall impact with the lower panels.
