Region 1 / 2025 October 19 to November 15 LPF Region 1 Report

Region 1 activities
1. 10/19 - attended the monthly LPF general membership and EC meeting.
2. 11/10 - attended Thomas Massie fundraiser with Robert V. from LPEC and Tommie G with the developing LPWC affiliate. Collected two people's contact information from this event that are interested in attending Libertarian affiliate meetings.
Escambia county affiliate updates and activities
1. 10/25 - Tailgate at UWF at 11am - was not able to make this event
2. 10/26 - Monthly Business meeting at 2pm, Varner Law - was not able to attend. I am happy to report LPEC gained control of their social media and are posting regularly
3. 11/10 - Finally made contact with YAL representative for the area
3. 11/15 - Tailgate at UWF at 10am - This was a lot of fun! Amanda from the Massie event showed up. She is committed to coming to the monthly business meeting and possibly join the EC.
Santa Rosa county affiliate updates and activities
1. 10/21 - Updated social media and posted about monthly business meeting
2. 10/23 - Attending the BOCC meeting
3. 10/23 - Monthly business meeting, 6:30 pm at Where ya at Seafood in Navarre
4. 10/24 to 10/31 - Hit the ground running and gathered signatures to get Ed Appler on the ballot for the Holley Navarre Water Board
5. 11/12 - Attended Holley Navarre Water Board meeting to see if the board is going to approve Mr. Appler's candidacy. They approved it! Mr. Appler is officially a candidate.
Okaloosa county affiliate updates and activities
1. 10/21 - Co - Organizing a discussion group at the FWB library about local governance for 10/30 at 9:30am with Lacey Price and Payne Walker - Lacey had to reschedule this event. Will update when rescheduled.
2. 11/14 - Picking back up the planning for the discussions.
Walton county affiliate updates and activities
1. 10/21 - Cold called 10 Libertarians for the affiliate meeting on 10/25. Followed up with a couple of emails and texts for those who requested them.
2. 10/25 - Attended first affiliation meeting. We have 3 Libertarians ready to take EC roles. Gave them all the steps needed to get this done. Scheduled actual annual business meeting to affiliate for 11/19 at 5:30pm at Pizza Hut in Defuniak Springs
3. 11/16 - Cold calling today and tomorrow for Wednesday's meeting.
4. 10/19 to 11/15 - Gained access to the FB page. Posting as regularly as possible until Tanya and Tommy get used to it and start posting more themselves.

Region 11 / October 2025 Report
« Last post by Region11 on October 19, 2025, 05:05:28 PM »Analyzed Indian River County Libertarians that have an email address and have not opted out. There are 157 Libertarians that screened. Mapped these 157 addresses and noted two items:
1) Most are clustered in the Vero Beach area, a natural meeting location would be the Dunkin Donuts along US 1. Will explore the cost of using their meeting room.
2) There is a cluster of approximately 10 Libertarians in the Vero Lake Estates area.
2) There are 13 Libertarians that live on the island. These are high value properties indicating potential fund-raising targets. Recommend fundraising zero in on zip code 32963.

Convention / October 2025 Convention Committee Report
« Last post by Convention on October 19, 2025, 04:40:45 PM »Narrowed the venue down to one in Clearwater FL, received an RFP, to submit to Audit, however we're waiting to receive "force majeure" clause. Completed an in person visit, and hope to have agreement ready to present to the EC at the next meeting. Will discuss official dates and results of in person visit at our next committee meeting, Monday Oct. 20th. We're also working on discounted hotel rates around the venue.
