Region 7 / 2025 July LPF Region 7 Report
« Last post by Region7 on July 20, 2025, 12:10:53 PM »
Attended Volusia LP meeting and social event. They will have a table at the Family Days weekend event October 11th & 12th in Port Orange. If you want to stop by or volunteer, please reach out to myself or Volusia LP for further details.

Matt Johnson was appointed to his municipal Planning & Land Development Regulation Commission. There will be a Operation First Step Incentive motion next LPF meeting regarding that for Volusia LP. Myself, Matt, Jim Turney and Paul Diaz have all been recently promoting municipal government board appointments. Reach out to myself or one of the others if you are interested in pursuing a similar local board appointment.

Libertarian Governor candidate Scott Jewett is currently filed for 2026. I will be making efforts to continue to have Region 7 well represented with LPF candidates.

I plan on reaching out to newly registered Libertarians in Region 7 with "Welcome Wagon" in mind. Volusia being the only currently affiliated county in Region 7, I do plan on trying to grow membership to higher levels to strengthen the affiliate. Flagler is a distant 2nd in population and has not been affiliated in at least several years that I'm aware, if ever. Several previous Region 7 Representatives have made valiant efforts to do so. I will make efforts on the shoulders of my predecessors. Putnam County has also not been affiliated to my knowledge. I understand it will be challenge to do so.

August 2025 DAL2 Report

01.  This Report -- covering the period since my report to the July 20 meeting-- is for the LPF EC August meeting, now scheduled for Sunday, August 17th.

02. I have been added to the LPF EC Communications Committee.

03. I have posted to "Florida Politics" a total of 24 times since our last meeting*. I hope someone over there is paying attention.

04. I was not able to attend the local meetings of the Lee County affiliate, because I was still up North (NH, NY). I am back. Let the record reflect that I literally kissed the ground here on my return, the way Pope John Paul used to, back in the old days.

05. Live Free or Die.

At-Large 3 / AtLarge 3 report for June/July 2025
« Last post by AtLarge3 on July 19, 2025, 07:46:40 PM »
Hello Everyone
I like to use google docs because it allows
you to create and edit docs anywhere and on the go.
So most of what i do and how I like to pass information around
especially for transparency is through using google docs.

I also understand it requires an internet access, so does
access to this bulletin board. So for now I will link
my reports here and make a PDF copy availbe for
anyone who ask.

If it becomes necessary I will make it a permanent thing
to do
to have my reports available in different formats.

June/July report here:

Greetings Fellow Libertarians!
The following is a report for activities in Florida Region 11.  During the month, we transitioned in a new Regional Rep (Bryan Beavers) for Region 11.  As part of the onboarding, the appropriate paperwork and systems access were completed.  Bryan now has access to the Region 11 email account and bulletin board systems. ln addition, an NDA was signed to start the process of gaining access to Nation Builder.

Chair / July 2025 Chair Report
« Last post by Chair on July 19, 2025, 12:13:33 PM »
This month has been spent working on rounding up volunteers to appoint to committees, along with chairs for committees.  You'll notice these appointments in the consent agenda for the meeting.  I've also worked with our incoming fundraising committee chair Mr. Golab to collaborate on my strategic plan, and how we grow membership and fundraising moving forward.  I'm going to ask that every person who volunteers to remain on this board, commit to making calls to members in their region for fundraising appeals.  We as board members have a fiduciary duty to the party itself, and part of that duty is to ensure that we remain financially solvent.  If you cannot make this commitment, I urge you to please do the right thing and vacate your seat for someone who will.  We are currently spending more per month than we bring in, and if we are to support our candidates, we must have donations.  If you're not willing to make the calls to members, please consider a monthly donation to the LPF yourselves.  Even if it's $5 per month, it will add up.  If you want to donate monthly, you can do so here:  https://www.lpf.org/donate?recruiter_id=21757

Communications / July 2025 Communications Committee Report
« Last post by Communications on July 19, 2025, 12:07:43 PM »
This month we've worked with the Convention Committee to download all convention related purchases for their report.  We've also continued posting on social media to grow our presence, sent several press releases through Agility PR, one regarding the Trump administration bombing Iran was actually picked up and published in multiple places.  There'll be a motion on the agenda to renew this, as we're past due for the payment currently.  We've also sent several email blasts, the latest was put together by Mr. Golab regarding convention, that netted us a $25 monthly donor and a single donation of $250.  We could really use help from Region Reps and Committees to generate content regularly for a Newsletter, and information on what's going on in affiliates is useful.  Lastly, we created a page for the upcoming Monroe County Organizational meeting.
