Region 1 counties - Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton
Escambia - I attended the June BOCC meeting. I touched base with a couple of previous EC members about reaffiliation. Helped organize the annual business meeting to reaffiliate and attended said meeting.
Santa Rosa - I attended the NBFRD board meeting. NBFRD keeps trying to pass resolutions to raise fees and assessments on STR owners without their knowledge. I also attended a Santa Rosa GOP meeting to garner bipartisan support to fight against the Navarre Beach Fire Rescue District. I attended one BOCC meeting. Starting to look into the BOCC budget to locate all the waste and hold BOCC accountable. Spoke to a citizen in Milton who has concerns about the new wastewater treatment plant location near her property. Attended the monthly social and business meeting. I also attended the LPF convention.
Okaloosa - I attended the Fort Walton Beach city council meeting to meet up with T. Payne Walker. He is a council member that has a watchdog group on social media for this county. He has given me permission to post in his group looking for Libertarians that are interested in affiliating.
