Lake Affiliate: Will conduct a phone meeting this week. Regular meeting cancelled due to illness. Is reaching out to Central Florida affiliates to secure volunteers for the November Cannafest. It's my intent to request the EC reimburse their $300 tabling fee in November.

Ranked-choice voting: Gave the Rank My Vote Florida presentation to Osceola earlier this month and Seminole last month. Will be presenting to Orange County this Tuesday. Monday, travelling to the Sarasota City Commission meeting to represent the LPF and local Libertarians to urge the city fight the state to get RCV implemented - 14 years after voters there approved it. Will be reaching out to other affiliates, notably Duval and Miami-Dade which have requested the Libertarian RCV presentation.
Also, Loki Mole been reaching out to LPF affiliates and our Chair. We've met with him. The distinction between his approach and ours is he is seeking a state referendum to change the Constitution. This will require nearly 900,000 signatures collected within a two-year period, substantial fees to verify the signatures, and if the wording is approved by the state Supreme Court, a 60% voter approval. That is a long-rage approach we support, however RMVF is focusing on cities to get RCV implemented on the local level because we believe city charters give them that right. This also gets voters familiar with RCV before implemented statewide. Note, RCV cannot be implemented at the county level because all but one or two do not operate under Home Rule Charters.
