Executive Committee Report - April 17, 2022The LPF Rules Committee conducted its regular meeting on April 13, 2022 at 6:30pm in the LPF Discord Meeting Room 1.
Determination of QuorumMembers Present: Greg Peele (Chair), Omar Recuero, Matthew Horvath, Josh Hlavka (ex-oficio), Ed Appler (ex-oficio)
Quorum Met (Majority of Elected Members Required, 3 / 3 present)
Business Conducted- Continued reconciliation of LPF governing documents
- Created tracking documents and audit checklists for all three documents
- Greg will go motion by motion in minutes, Omar and Matt will cross-reference to section changes and apply differences to tracking documents
- Standing Rules may possibly be up to date if prior LPF ECs did not make any amendments after January, 2020
- Initiated review of sample county affiliate constitution provided by Affiliate Support Committee
- Plan to return with suggested changes and comments next month
- Initial discussion of LP Broward inquiry regarding LPF “Member Bill of Rights” impact on FS 103.091 executive committee structure
- Greg took action to start drafting response for Rules to review
- Initial discussion of LP Lee ABM dispute
- LPF EC will need to make initial decision on how to proceed before any further action is taken
Schedule- Regular meeting schedule is 2nd Wednesday of every month at 6:30pm
- Committee will operate continuously on Discord in between meetings
