At-Large 3 Monthly Report 11/20/22
General Notes:
This report covers the period between October 17th and November 20th, 2022. I attended EC Meeting, the Officers Meeting, the general membership meeting, and the chairs meeting.
Notes for Audit: No notes to add to Chairman Gilmore’s report.
Notes for Platform: Still need a new committee member.
St. Lucie County update: No additional news to report.
Hurricane Ian Support: No additional news to report.
Hurricane Nicole Support: A request was requested from LP National to send at request for Hurricane Nicole Support on November 8th. A Venmo account was created in addition to the CashApp. No updates from national on funds or a marketing effort from LP National Affiliates support for this event. Physical donations were not sought in advance of this event because of the forecasted storm strength.
General notes: I was unable to attend the Cannafest event in due to a decision not to drive Friday because of medical concerns. I did attend the Golden Gala in Brevard Tuesday November 8th. The event was well attended given the storm was anticipated to make landfall the next evening.
Parker Redford was the other Gold Sponsor of the Brevard event. His token based social media platform Lumine8 was the official sponsor. I suggest that we reach out to thank Parker for this donation and ask him what we can do to maintain his support in the future.
