Region 14 comprises Miami-Dade (affiliated) and Monroe (unaffiliated) counties.

Miami-Dade
LPMD Meeting, August 8, 2023. We had a couple new folks joining that hadn't been out before, including an old-timer, Guy. He may be a source for some older LPF memorabilia we can log on LPedia. LPMD website improvements have been completed. Our site is not mobile compatible. If anyone needs recommendations for WordPress help, please let me know and I can give you Dan's info.

• Hoping to set up a social event soon, TBD
• Range night TBD, October or November?
• Comedy nights in August: Dave Smith & Robbie Bernstein at Dania Beach: This was an excellent event! We got over 10 people and had one full table right up front. We got to chat with Dave, Rob, Clint Russell, and Josie TRHL after the show. Best Comedy Night we've had so far, with turnouts from Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach.

Monroe
Spoke w/Steven about getting Monroe up and running again. He’s going to be speaking with Mike Kane soon to discuss reaffiliation, to see what he thinks.

• Steven thinks it might be best to find some fresh blood. Could do a text blast, could potentially use some funds for that for mailer or text campaign (~$100). Reached out to Chair w/this request.
• I sent Steven the updated LPF Monroe voter list on 8/16.
• Steven thinks we could potentially divide into three sections, Upper/Middle/Lower Keys, potentially. Three chapters, to help tackle the distance challenges.
• Related News: Steven is running for Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
