Region 14 comprises Miami-Dade (affiliated) and Monroe (unaffiliated) counties.

Miami-Dade
LPMD Meeting, September 12, 2023. We had six new folks joining that hadn't been out before, including a couple folks running for office (Ruth Swanson & Christi Tasker). We also had a planned guest speaker, Emiliano Antunez (Read more here: https://lpedia.org/wiki/Emiliano_Antunez).

• Social events being planned for a couple different "Meet the Candidate" events with both Chase Oliver and Mike ter Maat
• Range night TBD, November or December?
• Comedy nights in September: TBD
• Comedy nights in October: TBD

A couple other events happening that may be of interest, but are not official social events include:

• Timcast IRL Miami, October 6, 2023 ($188). More information: https://timcast.com/timcast-irl-x-miami/
• Atlas 7th Annual Gala, October 5, 2023 (Adult: $800, Student: $500). More information: https://www.atlassociety.org/gala

Monroe
Spoke w/Steven about getting Monroe up and running again. He’s going to be speaking with Mike Kane soon to discuss reaffiliation, to see what he thinks.

• Steven thinks it might be best to find some fresh blood. Could do a text blast, could potentially use some funds for that for mailer or text campaign (~$100). Reached out to Chair w/this request.
• I sent Steven the updated LPF Monroe voter list on 8/16.
• Steven thinks we could potentially divide into three sections, Upper/Middle/Lower Keys, potentially. Three chapters, to help tackle the distance challenges.
• Related News: Steven is running for Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

• October 2022: LPF 2,249 of 1,619,374 electors (net +23)
• September 2022: LPF 2,226 of 1,609,701 electors
