General notes:
Note for Candidates Committee: Discussed the possibility of running for Secretary of Agriculture with Steve Edmonds (professor, president of Hemp4Water), he will do it if we raise $100k campaign funds for the effort.
Notes for National Platform: Discussed potential changes to national platform with several people in person, via teleconference, and text exchange. Specific items covered included the editing of the “bigotry rejection” language, addition of a gender/sexual minority plank, addition of a pandemic specific plank, and maintenance of the existing “neutral” plank on abortion.
Notes for Audit: The concept of a working group for Treasurers was positively received through various communications channels.
For the period between July 13, 2021 and August 10, 2021, I logged 38.25 hrs of work on Party business (including 0.5 hrs specifically on LPSLC).
I attended LPF EC Meeting on July 18th.
I attended the LPF Officer call on July 25th, the General Membership call on August 1st, and the Committee Chairs call on August 8th.
