Hello Everyone, I apologize for my late report, home life is busy. Without further ado,
No movement in Hernando County
Pasco County has some new folks that seem pretty involved. I have set up a mailchimp and gmail account for the affiliate to use once it is up. For the time being, I will be able to send emails through there to notify folks about meetings and other events we have planned. There were quite a few out of state transplants that located to Pasco, so maybe we get them on board as well, it's looking up. Sending the introduction email first thing Sunday morning, 6/19.
Pinellas county has all hands on deck planning for the St. Pete Pride festivities. Between that and running active candidates, they've got their hands full, but are champs. They had Chair and Secretary resign effective at the end of their last business meeting on 6/16, Vice Chair tendered her resignation effective July 1st. The affiliate voted and approved a new Chair and Vice Chair to complete the remainder of the respective terms. Treasurer will have to perform the role of secretary for one month, then they will have someone else step in to keep them moving. Timing was unfortunate due to the planning of Pride week, they are trying their best.
Hillsborough County past members are working to identify digital and money assets owned by the party, should have a check soon to be put into escrow for the next affiliate. I am hoping to have login information for all their digital assets soon as well, which would make the transition much easier, the affiliate wouldn't have to start at zero.
Polk County had too many officers not available to attend the meeting, so they were not able to conduct business at the monthly meeting. The Excom will meet soon. Survey results came back, but participation was unfortunately very low, rendering it mostly inconclusive. Store page is up and running, get your Flexit or Die shirts from our lovely store, they will be made of the nicer material we had for convention shirts 2021 (Freedom over Fear). Looking at collaborating with local NPA organization on their poll watching initiative, need to be vetted first.
