- We had another interested candidate for CD-12 through LP.org; he has not responded to the chair's introduction email
- Christopher McLaughlin is an LPF member appointed to at least one board in Dunedin; we will reach out about Operation First Step funding at an upcoming Excom meeting.
- held Sunset Social In Indian Shores; about a dozen turned out; nice, easy to plan get together
- held Business Meeting on 9/16; preparing for bylaws updates the next two meetings for readings and feedback
- holding annual LP Birthday Party Social In December in place of biz meeting
Polk:
We at the Libertarian Party of Polk County conducted our monthly business meeting on August 23rd. We plan on holding more events to support local candidates in the coming weeks. A reorganization of ad-hoc committees is also being considered. Standing with Healthcare workers protesting the vaccine mandate demonstration this weekend, 9/18.
Hillsborough:
Selected new officers in the August meeting. Sent notice of new officers to secretary, no response. Would like to inquire as to Hillsborough county's status. Monthly business meeting held 9/15/2021.
Pasco and Hernando:
I have been posting occasionally on the Pasco county libertarians page on Facebook and have gotten a decent amount of engagement, mostly likes and some comments. Haven't gotten a response through facebook messenger from the hosts of the Hernando county page, not sure who has control over it, we may want to try to take this one back.
