Motion:
I move to authorize the expenditure of $2500 from the State Fund to purchase a Gold Level Sponsorship at the Libertarian Party of Brevard’s 2022 Golden Liberty Gala.
Discussion:
The 2022 Golden Liberty Gala will be taking place on November 8th, 2021 in Brevard Zoo’s Nyami Nyami River Lodge, in Brevard County, Florida.
This event is being hosted by the Libertarian Party of Brevard County, an affiliate of the Libertarian Party of Florida.
This event will have two local candidates in attendance and Spike and Tasha Cohen, Libertarian nominee for Vice President and husband to Tasha. There is discussion on potentially more guest speakers, who would be announced pending their confirmation for the event.
The intent of this event is to spread the Libertarian voice to Brevard county residents, to support their local candidates who will be awaiting election results, and to raise funds for the local affiliate.
The $2500 sponsorship would get the following benefits:
Gold Level Sponsor $2500 donation
- 1 table at the 2022 Golden Liberty Gala (optional and subject to availability) *
- 15 tickets
- Logo displayed on Gala Website sponsors section
- List as a sponsor on Gala signs at event
- Logo listed as a sponsor on all Gala advertising and on printed tickets
- Special recognition during the event
The affiliate has also agreed to allow 3-5 minutes for a spot for a representative of the LPF to speak on behalf of the state party.
Approval of this motion will allow our Brevard Affiliate to more effectively plan for this event financially and allow for promotion of the event on a state level, in support of our affiliate and local libertarian candidates.
The Affiliate and Gala Committee Chairs have welcomed any support the state party would be willing to provide the affiliate towards this event,
