Audit committee (Thompson and Korotzer), on December 5th at 6:30pm EST, reviewed the three AV contract proposals secured by the convention committee for the LPF24 convention in Jacksonville January 19, 20, 21.
AVGroup was the apparent best value.
A number of questions remain to be answered before a final contract can be signed.
-Did we get event insurance for the convention? Would AVGroup be covered by that policy?
- Can you confirm that a 3rd party AV team is allowed at the hotel without fee?
- Can you confirm that the AVGroup has all the required licenses and insurance policies?
- AVGroups letter mentions $6,000, but the summary is $6,240, please confirm the final cost is indeed $6,000.
- What, if anything, is this group doing for DJing and music at the non-convention times?
- where did we find this guy? Does he come with recommendations/testimonials?
