September Report

Activities this month
Volusia
-Attended monthly business meeting spoke about a fundraising opportunity to screen the LP California/ LPCal Mises Caucus video The Unseen as part of a fundraising opportunity. No action on this item so far.
-Also reminded EC members to renew their National Membership before time expires to count towards the delegate count for Reno 2022.
-Attended both days of the Ormond Beach Celtic Festival where we collected an estimated 200 signatures for Joe Hannoush for US Congress. Spoke with countless locals about things like ending the wars, mask mandates, taxation, gun rights, abortion laws, cannabis legalization, local issues, and whistleblowers just to name a few common topics. We also had a few registered libertarians from Volusia and out of county come and say hello. I reminded them all to reach out to their local affiliates about future events.
-Took all data available on the voter disk and separated contacts by location in West Volusia and East Volusia to better direct future communications for events to increase attendance.
Flagler
-A local Flagler Libertarian who teaches crypto for beginners met up with our affiliate at the Celtic Festival. I reached out to her afterwards and asked her if she was interested in attending a social with local libertarians. She is very excited about this idea so in lieu of doing a tabling event in the area I am going to be sending out invites for a social event in the near future.
-Currently working on a similar spreadsheet for Flagler Libertarians to the ones I have completed for Volusia.
Putnam
-Reviewed voter data and am looking at maps of the area based on the voters locations to find a good venue to host a social event close enough to appeal to local libertarians in hopes that a location close to where they live will increase attendance.

Future Tasks and Goals
-Attend both days of the Port Orange Family Days event in Volusia with the affiliate.
-Organizing all boxes of tabling items in our possession (Volusia) and creating tabling kits in smaller batches to keep in more than one location to have on hand more easily for events. Also to determine what needs re ordered or replaced.
-Volusia is setting up a bowling social in the near future. Date and venue TBD

Personal Actions

-Attended all meetings in the last month for Membership, Communications and Convention Committees as well as all available LPF calls open to my attendance. Have kept up with tasks involved in each committee.
-Spoke with a gentleman who owns a CBD shop on Main Street in Daytona Beach who is a registered Libertarian and new to the area. He is very interested in getting involved locally and has offered us a free table at his venue any time we want for any of the local events. I am waiting on a response from him to find out when a good time is for me to come down to the shop and speak personally. He was active in the Virginia LP before moving here and is excited to meet with local libertarians.
-Due to time constraints and terrible weather our local End The Damn Wars event was only attended by myself and Dennis Misigoy. We took some photos of the kids with our signs for the website and called a lid before the impending rain came in. In our wrap up session with the national organization we discussed our next course of action which will include getting some business cards and swag from the national organizer that I intend to use while handing out poppies for Veterans Day. Any ideas on where to do this are welcome. At the state level it was discussed to possibly hold a larger event against the proposed legislation to include women in the Draft as the US Congressmen Rep Waltz has his name as the proposer of the bill and is my representative. Pending redistricting, Joe Hannoush may be his opponent in the 2022 race.
