Report of the LPF Rules Committee

The Rules Committee meets continuously in the committee Discord channel.
The committee completed its reconciliation of amendments to the Standing Rules and offers them to the Secretary for his consideration. The reconciled text is at this link:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1az5_ZKOUEqzYU9CjpZv1pCL7IObi7_JuyEDv5cHmd3s/edit?usp=drivesdkThe committee has taken up a request from an affiliate, referred last year by their Regional Representative, and has established consensus to craft an amendment to LPF Constitution Article II, Section 4 more explicitly to allow affiliates to choose a precinct delegate structure for their executive committee. At this time, the elected members of the committee are disinclined to restrict the members' right to vote on the rules which govern their county affiliate. We remind LPF county affiliates of the supremacy clause of the LPF Constitution, which is ratified upon request for affiliation, as the highest expression of the will of the membership.
We await the approved minutes of the immediately past Annual Business Meeting to assist with the reconciliation of its amendments to the LPF Bylaws.
