December 2025 Communications Committee Report
« on: December 19, 2025, 01:57:40 PM »
December was an active and productive month for the Communications Committee, with a continued focus on maintaining consistent outreach, supporting candidates, and ensuring the Libertarian Party of Florida remains visible and engaged across multiple channels.

During the month, the committee distributed multiple email blasts to the membership, providing timely updates on Party activities, public statements, and upcoming initiatives. These communications were designed to keep members informed while reinforcing the LPF’s principled positions and strategic priorities.

The committee also maintained an active presence on social media, publishing posts that highlighted LPF messaging, current events, and Party leadership efforts. Social platforms continue to be a critical tool for engaging members, reaching new audiences, and amplifying libertarian perspectives statewide.

Ongoing maintenance of the LPF website remained a priority. This included publishing blog posts and news articles, updating content as needed, and ensuring the site continues to function as a reliable hub for Party information, statements, and public engagement. Newsletter content was also prepared and distributed to provide members with a more comprehensive overview of Party activities and messaging.

In addition, the Communications Committee worked directly with LPF candidates to assist with messaging, promotion, and visibility. This included coordination on announcements, fundraising efforts, and campaign-related communications.

With the absence of a fully functioning Fundraising Committee, the Communications Committee also assisted with fundraising efforts to help ensure continued financial support for the Party. Committee member Lisa organized and launched a Giving Tuesday fundraiser, which raised just under $1,000. While this effort was appreciated and demonstrated initiative, it also highlighted the need for stronger coordination, broader outreach, and more aggressive fundraising strategies moving forward. The Party can and should do better in this area.

Overall, December reflected strong continuity in communications operations and demonstrated the committee’s ability to adapt and support the broader needs of the Party. The Communications Committee remains focused on expanding reach, improving engagement, and ensuring that the Libertarian Party of Florida presents a consistent, professional, and principled message moving into the new year.
