January 2026 Chair Report
« on: January 18, 2026, 12:58:10 PM »
January focused heavily on communications, organizational continuity, and preparation for the upcoming Libertarian Party of Florida Convention and Annual Business Meeting.

During the month, I continued submitting articles and letters to the editor to local Florida news outlets, as well as contributing written content to the LPF website. These efforts were aimed at maintaining a consistent libertarian presence in public discourse and reinforcing the Party’s positions on current issues.

I also worked closely with LPF committees and affiliates on email blasts, messaging coordination, and convention-related communications. This included supporting outreach efforts connected to the Theme Contest and ongoing promotion of LPFCON26.

In addition, I communicated directly with the Executive Committee regarding the Party’s current infrastructure and financial sustainability, including the NationBuilder platform used for websites, email, SMS, donations, and convention operations. This outreach was intended to ensure transparency, prompt discussion, and timely decision-making as we approach key deadlines and expenses.

January also included continued coordination related to convention planning, logistics, and organizational readiness as we move into February.  As such, I've requested and personally taken care of accommodations for Mike Seebeck to be the parliamentarian.
