There is an individual that recently moved to the area and reached out to me through the Pasco County Facebook Page. He asked about events/activities and the status of the group. I asked if he would like to get it going and he expressed interest in that once he got settled in his new home and job.
Pinellas County
Providing volunteer assistance for Sunfest420 in Plant City. Officer elections are up in January, they are adding 3 At-Large Representatives to the leadership team. They will also be celebrating the Party's birthday on 12/9/2021 at Nueva Cantina, which is their monthly meeting location. They will not be having a December monthly membership meeting.
Hillsborough County
Motion to Disaffiliate pending. I will be proposing the motion. We are trying to gain access to the old affiliate infrastructure without much success. Best option in my view is to officially close everything so that it cannot be misused, and pick it back up later.
Polk County
October, we held the last debate for the Lakeland Mayoral and city commissioner races, we had our monthly meeting 10/25/2021. Our candidate Matthew Crowley’s election on November 2nd garnered 37% of the vote. We have our upcoming event at SunFest420 that our membership committee spearheaded November 20th and 21st. We have our November business meeting 11/22/2021 where we will be hosting Dennis Misigoy, who is the current Senate candidate for the LPF, we will also have a campaign announcement from one of our current members looking to run in the Florida State House District 40 race.
