This month Volusia has been on a bit of a holiday break however we ran an email campaign to field any potential members of the County that could potentially be a candidate for Operation First Step. While no results came from the specific task of the emailer we did have over a 25% email open rate within the first 24 hours of sending the email. Our email reached over 100 locals who also repeated the pattern of having a similar open rate on a second emailer sent about the Larry Sharpe 100@25 free Zoom chat.
Our next 2 email campaigns are in the process of being created for our 2022 convention in January and one promoting the re launch of Joe Hannoush for US Congress' website and requests to sign his petition and ask about potential speaking engagements.
For the other 2 counties I am preparing an emailer based on the spreadsheets I have created for the counties off of our monthly voter data disks about the upcomming state convention in Feb and encouraging them to attend.
Other duites
Comms: I have been providing more regular content on Twitter and recently ran a successful tweet on behalf of the Membership committee in reply to an article about Republican voter registration successes celebrating the small statistical win that we had over the other 2 parties.
I have been doing research on possible options for a social media calender applications to try to use going into 2022 so that our Social Media can be laser focused, coordinated and done in a timely manner. I have also created a Social Media Plan of action for how often we should be posting each quarter, on what, and who should be providing the content. you can read this request here, however it isnt a completed motion yet

Membership: I have created a spreadsheet doc of political quiz websites for the committee to review for feedback for a future campaign involving outreach. I have prepared an emailer to submit to Comms to put out asking For contact information for local speakers, organizations, and small businesses that will be useful for us to help our regional reps field possible contacts to create social events. These items are all up for discussion at our membership committee meeting next week.
Convention: I have taken point on obtaining speakers for Convention. I made contact with a number of potential speakers and am waiting on responses from others. As soon as details are finalize I can provide more info via Convention Committee.
Regional Rep: I have been working hard on 2 proposals to present to the EC on how to engage with our affiliates more and host more events in the state. While neither of these documents are 100% complete they are ready for review by the EC to offer feedback before I present final forms in motion form. You can review these documents here:
