Region 14 report - January 2021

Using December 2021 voter registration numbers:

Miami-Dade County LPF 2,276 (net +23). Compared to 2,253 in September this represents a 1% increase.

Munroe County LPF: 253 (net +4). Compared to 249 in September this represents a 1.6% increase.

Activities:

Scheduled a social with Chairman Nekhaila and Spike Cohen in Key West in January 8th and 9th which was later cancelled due to Spike having COVID (he has since recovered).

Attended Miami-Dade affiliate meeting on January 11th. Reported on LPF business and upcoming EC meeting information, particularly the LPF Convention.

Coordinated a social in Miami Beach on January 13th with Jeremy Kauffman, CEO of LBRY and New Hampshire LP member. LPMD supported the effort. Vice-Chair Josh Hlavka also participated. About 50 people participated.

Scheduled a social with Representative Dickey for January 15th at the Palm Beach Improv with guest comedian Rob Schneider who is currently on national tour. I could not attend due to local emergency event.

Scheduled to participate as part of the January 30th LPF Candidates Committee Training. A ticketing page is required.

Exploring the opportunity of another social involving a presentation by Dr. Jordan Petersen who is on tour in Florida late January, early February.

There have been 0 leads generated from LPF/LNC websites this month that was forwarded to me.

Closing speech pre-convention:

Happy New Year! My report is posted to the bulletin board.

1) I want to thank the members of this board and my region members for allowing me the opportunity to join you here. I have learned that this party is full of promise and that the challenge we faced at the start of the organization have been overcome. I truly look forward to the future of this organization after the upcoming convention.

2) I want to thank the advice of Director Korotzer who encouraged me to push for more social events in Region 13 for people who can't make it out to business meetings. Since then, I have arranged 10 socials with coordination with the local affiliates. I want to thank Chairman Nekhaila, Vice Chair Hlavka and my fellow eboard members in Miami where I also serve as treasurer in: Tony Sellers, Arian Gomez, and Suzanne Gilmore.

3) I have also tested email and text messenging marketing and coalition partner marketing to encourage participation in these events. Our biggest events have had 40 and 50 people. I hope thats the start for events that can scale to hundreds and recruit new members of the party through this outreach.

I look forward to seeing you all in person at the state convention. Have a great evening! I am happy to answer any questions.
