Joe Hannoush has collected enough petitions to be on the ballot for US Congress. Because of the extra district created if the new map is rejected or still tied up in legal matters Joe has the chance to be on every Florida ballot in the state as he will be in that extra district. We will be hosting a Social for the LPVC on June 18th in Deland Florida with Joe as guest speaker. I have also secured a $100 budget for the event to offset some of the guests food costs and maybe bring some decorations. We have asked the candidates committee to assist in drafting some emails to send to targeted LP voters about potential places that they can run for office in our county.
Personally I have been assisting with writing a resolution on abortion for the LPF, spoken to our new Development Director about a number of items and which to tackle first, assisted convention committee on all of their needs, and am working on creating a plan to do a number of events in the state.
The ASC committee is patiently waiting for advice on sample affiliate constitution and by laws and will be meeting next to go go over items we discussed at our last meeting for promotional items, rack cards and other things we can assist affiliates with. I will also be introducing a new program to assist the affiliate within the state that are already participating in or interested in starting acts of voluntaryism. we will vote on this most likey the following meeting after everyone has read it over and we can pass it by audit and other members of the EC and close on a final draft.
