Committee Objectives Summary:
- Grow the committee to at least 10 members (currently 6) recruit more members to the Candidate Cmte from the areas of Tampa Bay, SWFL, Panhandle and Central Florida.
- Campaign Bootcamp, currently slated for June 25th in Jacksonville. These are to organized quarterly (next is either Panhandle or South Florida)
- Recruit at least 100 candidates for public office in Florida
- Candidate Pipeline (list development): Take any interest from people to run for office and assign them to 3 paths (one at a time or concurrently): operation first step (join civic boards), run for something (less than 1 year), and parachute (at least 2 years out).

Continuing Actions:
- The complete list of 2022 LPF Candidates on the ballot will be compiled within the coming week.
--- The high profile candidates we have: Federal: Dennis Misigoy for US Senate; Frank Craft for US House; Joe Hannoush for US House; State: Hector Roos for Florida Governor.
--- Dennis "Mike" Simpson of Volusia won election without contest to the Volusia County Soil and Water Conservation District.
--- Brian Fleming of Brevard is running for the Brevard County Soil and Water Conservation District
--- Matthew Johnson is running for Deland City Council (Volusia)
--- Merceydes Morassi is running Broward County School Board

- We held Townhall meeting for candidates  on June 9, 2022. A possible Pasco county leader was recruited and directed to Edin.

- June 25th Campaign Bootcamp is hosted in partnership with FACL. Registration costs $40 / $25 for students, lunch and snacks included. Registration link: https://facl-training.org/schools/events/jacksonville-fl-cms-25jun2022
--- We spent $120 for scholarship tickets (3 tickets of $40) that are requested to be refunded.
--- We have 20+ people expected to attend the training.
--- Trainer: Alex Salsman is a gun rights activist and campaign strategist from the outskirts of St. Louis, Missouri. She works with the Missouri Firearms Coalition, a no-compromise gun rights advocacy group, as their Executive Board, lobbying for gun rights in the halls of her state Capitol. She has also facilitated tens of thousands of legal gun sales to law-abiding citizens as the Executive Director for Militia Armaments Gun Shows. Alex manages political campaigns ranging from Mayoral to Congressional races. Her proudest victories include ousting her two-term incumbent Prosecutor and her two-term incumbent Sheriff in heated hometown primaries. She has also replaced her local politicians with liberty-loving fiscal conservatives for State Representative, Mayor, and Public Administrator, has managed and directed Congressional and Gubernatorial races, and has worked as an Election Director for YAL’s “Win At The Door” program.

- The immediate focus of the Vote LPF project had been focused on SMS and drawing leads from registered LPF voters from across the state to run for office or support candidates. We are working with the active affiliates, region representatives and the ASC committee to reach out to the leads generated (estimated 900 leads).

- Governor signed SB 1078 that establishes draconian qualification requirements for the Soil and Water board elected supervisors. The bill was signed on Thursday disqualifying already qualified for the August ballot and moving the election to November. Without notice, candidates were expected to enter their qualifying documents again within the 3 hours of qualifying on Friday. We are exploring legal options to seek redress.

- We continue to develop Vote LPF as a repository of candidate support and recruitment funnel beyond the 2022 election cycles.

- We are already recruiting candidates for the remaining 2022 municipal races and the 2023 regional and municipal races.

- Adam Whitworth has created a test text messaging service for us that we can use for member outreach and even for public polling or electioneering. This is in testing phase now.

- Reimbursement request was entered to the treasurer for $308.86 under Motion No. 750 for Twilio and Cloudy services through May. Expenses for June have been compiled yet.

- Question about renewing OPERATION FIRST STEP AFFILIATE INCENTIVE PROGRAM motion.
