Matt Johnson- Deland County Commission
Dennis Simpson- Soil and Waterboard, and was the only person to qualify for his seat so he will not be on the ballot.
We approved to launch a fundraiser using our new button maker, details will be out for that in the coming weeks!
We approved a tentative location for our ABM, we will be planning a slightly larger event this year and will be encouraging guests to come in from out of the county to speak, some of which will be offered gas compensation and dinner.
We will be launching a know your dates social media campaign to make voters aware of important dates for the upcoming midterm elections.
We have had a change in dates for one of our major events due to the carnival company who regularly does the event going out of business, we will be evaluating some peoples availability and possibly changing up a few of our upcoming events.
Our next social will be 8/6 at the possible venue for our ABM.
No new changes out of Volusia except for Joe making connections outside of Volusia related to his campaign.
