Motion:
I move to authorize a budget, not to exceed $1100, from the State Fund to provide Mr. Welti with travel and lodging accommodations for the 2022 Students for Liberty, “LibertyCon” event.
Discussion:
The 2022 LibertyCon event will be taking place October 14th & 15th at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Miami, Fl. This expenditure would ensure that our contracted fundraiser will be able to attend the event in person, and actively solicit patrons of the event for donations to the LPF, as well as recruit new members to the party, who could be turned into potential donors at a later date. The expenditure would cover round trip air travel for Mr. Welti, in addition to lodging accommodations for the duration of the event for Mr. Welti. If passed, the Treasurer would coordinate with Mr. Welti to book reservations for Mr. Welti's flight and hotel.
