LPF Audit Committee Report - October 2022
by Suzanne Gilmore, Chair

Members:
Suzanne Gilmore Committee Chair, John Thompson Committee Vice Chair, Lee Korotzer and Hector Roos members, Joshua Hlavka and Rich Perez (ex-officio members)

Committee met on September 22. We had another consecutive month without exceeding basic expenses. The General fund is more than $19K lower than in February. The Committee reviewed figures from Treasurer and determined that a request needs to be made to the fundraising contractor to focus more on fundraising for the general fund. Mr. Hlavka will handle. Discretionary expenditures need to be curbed until the current trend reverses.

Mr. Hlavka reported back to the Audit Committee that he had advised the fundraising contractor of the need to refocus more on general fund fundraising going forward and explained the reason. He advised that the fundraising contractor indicated his intention to move in that direction.

Committee meeting canceled for 10/13/2022 with no new inputs.
