Assisting Matt Johnson, chair of Communications to develop onboarding of LPF tasks to new Nationbuilder software.
Worked to help bank Ralph Groves for Congress.
Continued to follow up with Candidate Leads who needed direct in qualifying for office and onboarding them into county affiliates / region rep.
Preparing an online tutorial series including presentation with worksheets for online distribution and a campaign in a box for future candidates.
Reaching out to attorneys linked to the LP (or LP members) who are licensed to practice law in Florida to develop a volunteer legal team (I have 2 attorneys involved so far). Filed lawsuit to challenge Florida election law around Presidential Preference Primary. Punted the lawsuit to after November 2024 to encourage the LPF involvement.
Responsibilities as chair of the LPF affiliate of Miami-Dade County have occupied some of my time.
Worked with fundraising cmte in development of events, end of year giving, corporate sponsorships and the creation of Florida Liberty Action, Inc. the chairs project to solicit corporate support.
Worked on coalition building with Florida Cannabis Action Network, Independent Voter Project among others groups and other third parties.
Working with Florida Cannabis Action network on a request for declaratory statement to present to a meeting of the April 5th Florida Board of Medicine to challenge the state science on cannabis/hemp.
