2024 November LPF Region 1 Report - Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton
Exciting news for Region 1 this month with the resignation of US House District 1, which has a lot overlap with Region 1, Representative, Matt Gaetz, resigning. This will result in a "Special Election". The details of the CD1 Special Election have not been made public by Gov Desantis or elsewhere, to my knowledge. This opportunity for attention in Region 1 which can result in membership growth and affiliation of new county party executive committees by running a Libertarian candidate for the CD1 seat Special Election. I have communicated to a affiliate member regarding this and will reach out to more affiliate members and potential affiliate members in the coming month.
